Ingredients
2 medium baking apples

½ cup light brown sugar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix the chopped apples, light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and ground ginger. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg and add white granulated sugar, vegetable oil, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and kosher salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
