Description
Delicious apple dumplings made with flaky biscuit dough, wrapped around tender apple halves and drenched in a sweet, buttery syrup.
Ingredients

1 (16 ounce) can refrigerated flaky biscuit dough
4 apples – peeled
cored and halved
1 cup white sugar
1 cup water
½ cup butter
melted
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out each biscuit and wrap it around half of an apple, sealing the edges.
- Place the wrapped apples in a greased baking dish.
- In a saucepan, combine the sugar, water, melted butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon; stir until mixed.
- Pour the syrup over the dumplings in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the dumplings are golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
