These Baked Ham and Cheese Rolls are a deliciously easy appetizer or snack, featuring flaky crescent rolls wrapped around savory ham and cheese, served with a sweet and tangy honey mustard sauce.
Ingredients
1 package (about 12 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
8 oz sliced ham (deli ham works well)
8 oz sliced cheese (Swiss
cheddar
or your choice)
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional
for topping)
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate it into triangles.
- Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each dough triangle, adding a bit of Dijon mustard if desired.
- Roll each triangle from the wide end to the point, forming a roll.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and sprinkle with poppy seeds if using.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- While the rolls are baking, prepare the honey mustard sauce by mixing together the Dijon mustard, honey, mayonnaise (if using), salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Serve the baked rolls warm with the honey mustard sauce for dipping.
