Ingredients

1 can black beans drained and rinsed
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
2 cloves garlic minced
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
- Add breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and the egg to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties.
- Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the burgers are heated through and slightly crispy.
