These BLT Baked Chicken Burgers are a delicious and easy recipe that combines the classic flavors of a bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich into a juicy chicken patty, baked to perfection.
Ingredients
4 slices bacon finely chopped
1 lb ground chicken
3 tablespoon breadcrumbs
1 ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon chili flakes optional
Spicy mayo
Brioche burger buns
Lettuce leaves
Tomato slices
Onion rings optional
Extra cooked bacon slices
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the finely chopped bacon, ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and optional chili flakes. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties, about ½ inch thick, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the patties are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let the patties rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the chicken burgers on brioche buns with spicy mayo, lettuce, tomato slices, and any extra toppings you desire, like onion rings and cooked bacon.
