  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, cut into cubes

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries (or thawed frozen)

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

  • Whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

  • Fold in cubed cream cheese and blueberries.

  • Dip bread slices into the custard mixture, soaking both sides.

  • Arrange soaked bread in the prepared baking dish. Pour remaining blueberry and cream cheese mixture over the top.

  • In a small bowl, combine flour and cold butter using a fork or fingers until crumbly. Sprinkle over the top.
