Description
These Bunny-Shaped Chocolate Truffles are a delightful and adorable treat for Easter, bringing sweetness and charm to your celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale
8 oz semi-sweet chocolate
finely chopped
½ cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 oz white or milk chocolate (for coating)
Pink and white candy melts (for details)
Edible candy eyes and sprinkles (for decoration)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it simmers, then pour it over the chopped semi-sweet chocolate. Let it sit for a few minutes, then stir until smooth.
- Mix in the vanilla extract until fully combined, and refrigerate the mixture for 1-2 hours until it’s firm enough to scoop.
- Once firm, scoop out small balls of the mixture and shape them into bunny forms. Place them on a parchment-lined tray.
- Melt the white or milk chocolate and dip each bunny into the chocolate. Allow the excess to drip off before placing them back on the tray.
- Melt the pink and white candy melts to add cute details on the bunnies. Use edible eyes and sprinkles for decoration.
- Let the coating set completely before serving your adorable bunny-shaped truffles.
Notes
For easier shaping, you can use gloves when forming the bunnies. Adjust the decorations according to your creativity!
