1/2 cup quick cooking oats

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup caramel topping for drizzling after baked


Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the 2 cups of flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1 cup softened butter until crumbly, then press into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  • In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar, 3 eggs, and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
  • Fold in the chopped apples, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.
  • Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the crust in the baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup oats, and 1/2 cup softened butter to form a streusel; sprinkle over the filling.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the filling is slightly set.
