Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are a delightful blend of tender chicken, savory garlic, and melty cheese wrapped in a soft tortilla, perfect for a quick meal or snack.
Ingredients
2 large tortillas regular or low-carb/high-protein
7 oz cooked chicken about 200 grams chopped
2 garlic cloves minced or grated
2 tablespoons light mayonnaise
1 tablespoon light Greek yogurt or plain yogurt
2 teaspoons hot sauce like Frank’s
¼ teaspoon salt
3 oz grated cheese about 90 grams
1 green onion chopped
Olive oil spray
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the chopped chicken, minced garlic, light mayonnaise, light Greek yogurt, hot sauce, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- Lay out the tortillas and evenly distribute the chicken mixture among them, sprinkling grated cheese and chopped green onion on top.
- Wrap the tortillas tightly around the filling, folding in the sides as you go. Spray the outside lightly with olive oil.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the wraps for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Slice the wraps in half and serve warm, optionally with extra hot sauce on the side.
Notes
Feel free to customize the fillings by adding other veggies or spices according to your taste. These wraps can also be served with a side salad for a complete meal.
