Ingredients
1 pound ground beef (or substitute with ground turkey or plant-based alternative)
2 cups frozen tater tots
6 large flour tortilla wraps
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup Taco Bell chipotle sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Diced tomatoes (optional)
Chopped green onions (optional)
Cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- While the beef is cooking, bake the tater tots according to package instructions until crispy.
- Once the beef is cooked and the tater tots are crispy, warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
- Assemble each burrito by placing a portion of the beef, a handful of tater tots, cheddar and monterey jack cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and chipotle sauce on each tortilla.
- Roll the tortillas tightly to form burritos.
- Place the burritos seam-side down on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes until heated through and the cheese is melted.
- Serve hot, garnished with diced tomatoes, green onions, and cilantro if desired.
