Ingredients

12 oz tortellini

2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)

1 cup ricotta cheese

½ cup grated parmesan cheese

24 oz marinara or Alfredo sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

salt and pepper to taste

optional sautéed vegetables (spinach or mushrooms)


Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked tortellini, marinara or Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. If using, add in sautéed vegetables.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and layer the cheese blend on top, starting with ricotta, then mozzarella, and finishing with parmesan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
