1 cup 2% milk
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
½ (10 ounce) package frozen corn
¼ teaspoon smoked paprika

For the Dumplings:
1 cup baking mix (such as Bisquick®)
⅓ cup milk
Instructions
Cook the Chicken Stew:
Heat clarified butter in a large pot over medium heat.
Add bacon slices and cook until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pot.
Add diced chicken thighs to the pot and sauté until browned.
Stir in chopped potatoes, carrots, celery, red onion, and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add chicken broth, milk, and cream of mushroom soup. Stir in frozen corn, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a simmer, allowing the flavors to meld for about 10 minutes.
Prepare the Dumplings:
In a separate bowl, mix Bisquick and milk until just combined (do not overmix).
Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling batter onto the simmering stew.
Cover the pot and let the dumplings steam for about 15 minutes, or until they are fluffy and cooked through.
