Description
Chicken with Zesty Bang Bang Sauce is a delightful dish that combines crispy chicken strips with a creamy, spicy sauce that’s bursting with flavor.
Ingredients
1 pound chicken breast cut into strips
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs packed
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust to taste for spiciness)
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Set up a breading station: place the flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and panko breadcrumbs in the third.
- Season the flour with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Dredge the chicken strips in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Place the breaded chicken strips on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the chicken is baking, prepare the Bang Bang Sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and lime juice in a bowl. Adjust spiciness to your liking.
- Once the chicken is done, serve hot with the Zesty Bang Bang Sauce drizzled on top or on the side for dipping.
Notes
You can adjust the level of spiciness in the sauce by varying the amount of Sriracha used. Pair with a fresh salad for a complete meal.
