Description

These delightful Chocolate Easter Nests are a fun and easy treat to make for the holiday, perfect for kids and adults alike, filled with crunchy cornflakes and topped with chocolate mini eggs.


Ingredients

100g Cornflakes

250 g Milk Chocolate

50 g Block Margarine or Butter

2 tbsp Golden Syrup

Chocolate Mini Eggs


Instructions

  • Melt the milk chocolate and margarine (or butter) together in a saucepan over low heat or in a microwave until smooth.
  • Stir in the golden syrup until fully combined.
  • Remove from heat and gently fold in the cornflakes until they are evenly coated.
  • Spoon the mixture into cupcake cases and shape into nests.
  • Leave to set in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  • Once set, decorate the nests with chocolate mini eggs before serving.

Notes

For a vegan option, use a plant-based chocolate and margarine. Make sure to store in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
