Ingredients
Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Creamy peanut butter
Chow Mein noodles
Butterscotch chips (optional)
Roasted salted peanuts (optional)
Vanilla extract
Sea salt flakes (optional for topping)
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and creamy peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract until well incorporated.
- Add the chow mein noodles and gently fold them into the chocolate mixture until fully coated.
- If using, fold in butterscotch chips and roasted salted peanuts for extra flavor and crunch.
- Using a spoon, drop tablespoon-sized mounds onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with sea salt flakes if desired and refrigerate for about 30 minutes or until set.
Notes
For a sweeter or richer version, feel free to swap semi-sweet chocolate chips for milk or dark chocolate respectively.
