Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter and coarsely chopped unsweetened baking chocolate together. Stir until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine granulated sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Add the melted chocolate mixture to the dry ingredients, followed by the large eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in the all-purpose flour until no streaks remain.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle Christmas M&Ms and sprinkles on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute unsalted butter with coconut oil. You can also experiment with flavored cocoa powder for a unique twist.
