Ingredients
Rice Chex cereal
Pretzels
Salted peanuts or mixed nuts
Butter
Brown sugar
Vanilla extract
Semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
White chocolate or almond bark
Holiday M&M’s or festive sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 250°F (121°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex cereal, pretzels, and nuts (if using).
- In a saucepan, melt the butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract over medium heat, stirring constantly until it reaches a gentle boil.
- Pour the butter mixture over the cereal mixture and stir gently to coat everything evenly.
- Spread the coated mix on the prepared baking sheet in an even layer and bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
