Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the cubed cold butter to the dry ingredients and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • In another bowl, combine the milk, vanilla extract, and egg, then add this to the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
  • In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon with the melted butter.
