Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons white sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups warm milk
⅓ cup butter
melted
2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¾ cup brown sugar
packed
½ cup butter
melted
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 ½ cups confectioners’ sugar
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese
softened
¼ cup butter
softened
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
⅛ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon to create the cinnamon topping.
- Preheat your waffle iron and pour half of the waffle batter onto the iron, then drizzle half of the cinnamon topping over it, and close the lid.
- Cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Repeat with the remaining batter and cinnamon topping.
- For the cream cheese topping, mix confectioners’ sugar, softened cream cheese, softened butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- Serve the waffles warm topped with the cream cheese frosting.
