Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon to create the cinnamon topping.
  • Preheat your waffle iron and pour half of the waffle batter onto the iron, then drizzle half of the cinnamon topping over it, and close the lid.
  • Cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Repeat with the remaining batter and cinnamon topping.
