2 tbsp Butter
4 cloves Garlic
1 medium Onion
1 cup Heavy Cream
1 cup Chicken Broth
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
Salt and Pepper
1/4 cup Fresh Parsley
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and diced onion to the skillet, cooking until fragrant and the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream; stir to combine, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes; adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce. Remove from heat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, add more red pepper flakes to taste. This dish pairs well with a side salad or garlic bread.
