Ingredients

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Cut in cold unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add ice water until the dough forms.
- Roll out the dough and fit it into a pie pan. Prick the bottom with a fork and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine cranberries, granulated sugar, and water. Cook over medium heat until the cranberries burst and become soft, about 10 minutes. Stir in lemon juice and orange zest, then set aside to cool.
- In a bowl, whisk together large eggs, heavy cream, vanilla extract, ground nutmeg, and additional flour until smooth.
- Spread the cranberry filling over the prepared crust, then pour the custard mixture on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the custard is set and the top is golden.
- Let cool before slicing. Serve and enjoy!
