400 g Elbow Macaroni
4 tablespoon Butter
500 ml Heavy Cream (35%)
½ cup Mature Cheddar Cheese grated
½ cup Gouda grated
½ cup Mozzarella grated
⅓ cup Parmesan grated
2 tablespoon Fresh Parsley chopped
1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1 teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat, then stir in the heavy cream.
- Gradually add the grated cheddar, gouda, mozzarella, and parmesan to the mixture, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Season the cheese sauce with garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Combine the drained macaroni with the cheese sauce, stirring well to coat.
- Transfer the mac and cheese to a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and top with fresh parsley.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
