Ingredients
400 g Elbow Macaroni
4 tablespoon Butter
500 ml Heavy Cream (35%)
½ cup Mature Cheddar Cheese grated
½ cup Gouda grated
½ cup Mozzarella grated
⅓ cup Parmesan grated
2 tablespoon Fresh Parsley chopped
1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1 teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente, drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then add the heavy cream and stir until combined.
- Gradually add in the mature cheddar, gouda, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Season the cheese sauce with garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper, then stir until well mixed.
- Combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce until the pasta is evenly coated.
- Transfer the macaroni and cheese mixture to a baking dish, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
