Ingredients

1 cup basil leaves
½ avocado
1 cup spinach
¾ cup reserved pasta water
¾ cup cashews
½ lemon juiced
4 cloves garlic
3 tablespoon nutritional yeast
2 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook your favorite pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ¾ cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a blender, combine basil leaves, avocado, spinach, reserved pasta water, cashews, lemon juice, garlic, nutritional yeast, olive oil, and salt and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Toss the cooked pasta with the green goddess sauce until well coated.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional basil or nutritional yeast if desired.
