½ avocado

1 cup spinach

¾ cup reserved pasta water

¾ cup cashews

½ lemon juiced

4 cloves garlic

3 tablespoon nutritional yeast

2 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  • Cook your favorite pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ¾ cup of pasta water before draining.
  • In a blender, combine basil leaves, avocado, spinach, reserved pasta water, cashews, lemon juice, garlic, nutritional yeast, olive oil, and salt and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Toss the cooked pasta with the green goddess sauce until well coated.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with additional basil or nutritional yeast if desired.
