This Creamy Pasta Salad is a delightful blend of small pasta, crispy bacon, and fresh peas, all coated in a rich and flavorful creamy dressing.
Ingredients
12 oz small pasta noodles
2 cup frozen peas (thawed)
12 oz thick cut bacon (cooked and chopped)
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
3/4 cup mayonnaise
2 TBS olive oil
1 TBS apple cider vinegar
1 tsp granulated sugar (to taste)
1 tsp salt (to taste)
1/2 tsp garlic powder (to taste)
1/2 tsp onion powder (to taste)
1/4 tsp black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Cook the small pasta noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, thawed peas, chopped bacon, and grated parmesan cheese.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, granulated sugar, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.
- Pour the creamy dressing over the pasta mixture and stir until everything is coated evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
Feel free to add more vegetables like bell peppers or cucumbers for added crunch! Adjust the seasoning to your taste.
