4 cups sugar
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
or 1/2 tsp citric acid
1 box Powdered Pectin
1.75 ounces
such as Sure Jel

Instructions
- Gather your dandelion petals, ensuring they are clean and free of dirt.
- In a large pot, combine the dandelion petals with boiling water and let steep for about 15 minutes.
- Strain the mixture through a fine sieve to extract the dandelion infusion, discarding the solids.
- Return the liquid to the pot, and add the sugar and lemon juice (or citric acid).
- Stir in the powdered pectin and bring the mixture to a rolling boil.
- Boil for exactly 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and pour into sterilized jars, sealing tightly.
- Cool completely at room temperature before refrigerating or storing in a cool place.
Notes
Ensure to use fresh dandelion petals for the best flavor. The jelly can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a year if sealed properly.
