Ingredients

Unsalted Butter

Powdered Sugar

Vanilla Extract

All-Purpose Flour

Cornstarch

Heavy Cream

Chocolate Chips or Almond Bark (optional)

Candied Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add in the vanilla extract and mix well.
  • Gradually add the all-purpose flour and cornstarch, mixing until just combined.
  • If the dough is too stiff, mix in heavy cream a little at a time until you reach piping consistency.
  • Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip and pipe cookies onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • If desired, sprinkle with candied sprinkles before baking.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.
  • For an optional twist, dip cooled cookies in melted chocolate chips or almond bark.

Notes

Make sure to use softened butter for the best texture. Feel free to get creative with decorations and toppings!
