These Delicious King Cake Bites are a fun and festive treat that bring a taste of New Orleans to your Carnival festivities. Easy to make with refrigerated crescent roll dough, they’re filled with a creamy cinnamon-sugar mixture and decorated with traditional Mardi Gras colors.
Ingredients
2 cans of refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1 cup cream cheese softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Colored sugar or sprinkles in purple
green
and gold
Optional: 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened cream cheese until well combined.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough and pinch seams together to form a large rectangle.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough into a log.
- Slice the log into bite-sized pieces and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a splash of milk until smooth.
- Once baked, remove from the oven, drizzle with the glaze, and sprinkle with colored sugar or sprinkles.
Notes
For a crunchy texture, you can add pecans to the filling. Be cautious with plastic baby figurines; they should be served separately to avoid choking hazards.
