For the bread:

  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 cup vegetable oil

  • ⅔ cup water

  • 3 cups white sugar

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 teaspoons baking soda

  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves

  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger


Instructions

  • Preheat Oven & Prepare Pans
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9×5-inch loaf pans and set them aside.

  • Prepare the Wet Ingredients
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, eggs, vegetable oil, water, and granulated sugar. Stir well until evenly mixed.

  • Prepare the Dry Ingredients
    In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger. Stir until well incorporated.

  • Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients
    Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

  • Bake
    Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared loaf pans. Bake for approximately 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.

  • Cool
    Allow the bread to cool for 10-15 minutes in the pans before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
