Ingredients
For the bread:
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
4 large eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
⅔ cup water
3 cups white sugar
3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
½ teaspoon ground cloves
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
Instructions
Preheat Oven & Prepare Pans
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9×5-inch loaf pans and set them aside.Prepare the Wet Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, eggs, vegetable oil, water, and granulated sugar. Stir well until evenly mixed.Prepare the Dry Ingredients
In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger. Stir until well incorporated.Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.Bake
Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared loaf pans. Bake for approximately 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.Cool
Allow the bread to cool for 10-15 minutes in the pans before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
