200 g dark or milk chocolate
1 tablespoon coconut oil
10 –12 fresh strawberries
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
75 g kataifi
40 g butter
140 g pistachio paste
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Spoon the melted chocolate into silicone molds and tilt to coat the sides. Refrigerate until firm.
- In a bowl, mash the strawberries and mix in powdered sugar if desired. Set aside.
- In a pan, melt the butter and toast the kataifi until golden brown and crispy. Remove from heat.
- Fill the chocolate cups with the strawberry mixture, then top with the toasted kataifi and pistachio paste.
- Top with mint leaves, shredded coconut, or chopped nuts for garnish. Serve chilled.
Notes
For a smoother texture, consider adding coconut oil to the chocolate. Adjust the sweetness of the strawberries to your liking.
