Ingredients

Scale

For the Brownies:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • ¾ cup cocoa powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

For the Chocolate Topping:

  • 1 ½ cups semisweet or milk chocolate chips

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter

For Decoration:

  • ½ cup white chocolate, melted

  • Food coloring (pink, blue, yellow)

  • Mini candy eggs

  • Sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

  2. Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.

  3. Combine Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

  4. Combine Wet and Dry:
Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

  5. Bake:
Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  6. Prepare Topping:
Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth. Pour evenly over cooled brownies.

  7. Decorate:
Drizzle melted white chocolate over the top. Tint portions with food coloring and drizzle for a festive look. Add mini candy eggs and sprinkles. Let set before slicing.

Notes

  • Use room temperature eggs for smoother batter.

  • Do not overmix after adding flour to maintain a fudgy texture.

  • For extra chewiness, slightly underbake by 1–2 minutes.

  • Let brownies cool completely before cutting for clean slices.
