⅓ cups Cocoa powder

⅓ cups Vegetable oil
1 cups Hot coffee
2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
340 g Butter
2 cups Powder sugar
½ cup Cocoa powder

1 Pinch of salt
150 g Dark chocolate
230 g Cream cheese softened
115 g Butter softened
½ teaspoon Kosher salt
3 ½ cups Powder sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, and kosher salt to the egg mixture. Mix until smooth.
- Stir in the vegetable oil, hot coffee, and vanilla extract until just combined.
- Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting with chocolate buttercream or cream cheese frosting.
Notes
For a richer chocolate flavor, consider adding melted dark chocolate into the batter. Ensure ingredients like butter and cream cheese are at room temperature for best mixing results.
