Description

This Easy Green Pistachio Cake is a delightful dessert that’s perfect for any occasion. With its vibrant green color and rich pistachio flavor, it’s sure to impress your guests!


Ingredients

1 box vanilla cake mix

1 (3.4 oz) box instant pistachio pudding

3 eggs

1 cup oil

1 cup milk

green food coloring (optional)

1 (3.4 oz) box instant pistachio pudding

1/2 cup milk

1 (8 oz) tub frozen whipped topping (COOL WHIP)

thawed


Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine the vanilla cake mix, instant pistachio pudding, eggs, oil, and milk. Mix until well combined.
  • If desired, add green food coloring until the desired shade is achieved.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • While the cake is cooling, prepare the frosting by mixing the second box of pistachio pudding with 1/2 cup of milk and the thawed COOL WHIP until smooth.
  • Once the cake is completely cool, frost the cake with the pistachio frosting and serve.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding crushed pistachios on top of the frosting. This cake can also be made in advance and stored in the fridge for a couple of days.
