Ingredients
Ground beef (1 lb / 450g)
Ground pork (½ lb / 225g)
Egg (1 large)
Almond flour (½ cup / 50g)
Parmesan cheese (½ cup / 50g
grated)
Garlic (2 cloves
minced)
Onion powder (1 tsp)
Italian seasoning (1½ tsp)
Salt & pepper
Sugar-free marinara sauce (1½ cups / 360ml)
Mozzarella cheese (2 cups / 200g
shredded)
Fresh basil or parsley (optional
for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, egg, almond flour, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- In a baking dish, spread half of the sugar-free marinara sauce on the bottom. Place meatballs on top.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the meatballs, then sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Optional: Top with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
