1 Packet Instant Yeast 2 ¼ teaspoons

½ tsp Salt

2 tsp Maple Syrup

2 cups Warm Water (480ml)


Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, instant yeast, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, mix warm water and maple syrup until the syrup is dissolved.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased bread pan.
  • Let it rise for another 30 minutes, then bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven, let it cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
