1 ½ teaspoons ground turmeric
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon plus more for sprinkling
½ teaspoon ground ginger or 1 teaspoon fresh grated
Pinch of black pepper
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon coconut oil optional
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine almond milk, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat until warm, but do not boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in honey and coconut oil if using.
- Whisk the mixture until frothy, then serve in cups with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
Notes
For a sweeter latte, adjust honey to taste. You can also blend the mixture for extra frothiness.
