5 Filet mignon’s
3 tbsp Dad’s steak seasoning
1 tbsp Olive oil
1 stick Unsalted butter
1 tbsp Dad’s steak seasoning
1 tbsp Minced garlic
1 Shallot
Handful of parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to high heat.
- Rub the filet mignon steaks with olive oil and season them thoroughly with Dad’s steak seasoning.
- Place the seasoned steaks on the hot grill and sear each side for about 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, adjusting time based on your desired doneness.
- While the steaks are grilling, prepare the garlic butter by melting the unsalted butter in a saucepan over low heat.
- Add 1 tbsp of Dad’s steak seasoning, minced garlic, and finely chopped shallot to the melted butter. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove the butter mixture from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
- Once cooked to your preference, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Plate the grilled filet mignon and drizzle the garlic butter generously over each steak before serving.
