Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water with yeast and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix bread flour, brown sugar, and salt. Then, add the yeast mixture.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a pot of boiling water.
- Divide the dough into 4 pieces and shape each into a bagel. Boil each bagel for about 1 minute on each side.
