This Homemade BBQ Sauce combines the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess to elevate your grilled dishes.
Ingredients

1 ½ cups brown sugar
1 ½ cups ketchup
½ cup red wine vinegar
½ cup water
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 ½ tablespoons dry mustard
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons salt
1 ½ teaspoons black pepper
2 dashes hot pepper sauce
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, ketchup, red wine vinegar, water, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Whisk the ingredients together until smooth.
- Add dry mustard, paprika, salt, black pepper, and hot pepper sauce.
- Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
- Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let cool before using or storing in an airtight container.
