Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a tartlet pan.
- In a bowl, mix chilled unsalted butter, all-purpose flour, sugar, and egg yolk until combined. Form into a dough and press it into the tartlet pan.
- Bake the tart shells for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Let them cool completely.
- For the coffee ganache, heat heavy cream and pour it over chopped dark chocolate. Stir until smooth, then mix in brewed coffee.
- Pour the ganache into the cooled tart shells and let it set in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Prepare the mascarpone cream by mixing mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Once set, pipe or spread the mascarpone cream on top of the ganache in each tartlet.
