Ingredients

Scale

16 oz (450 g) Cream cheese

room temperature

3/4 cup (150 g) White sugar

2 tbsp Matcha powder

1 tbsp (7 g) Cornstarch

1 tsp Vanilla extract

3 Large eggs

room temperature

3/4 cup (180 ml) Thickened/Heavy cream

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a springform pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  • Gradually add in the sugar and matcha powder, mixing until well combined.
  • Add the cornstarch and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  • Incorporate the eggs, one at a time, mixing gently after each addition.
  • Finally, fold in the heavy cream until the mixture is fully combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared springform pan and bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden and the center is slightly jiggly.
  • Let it cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Serve chilled, sliced, and enjoy your Matcha Basque Cheesecake!
