1 1/4 sticks of unsalted butter or 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
2 tbsp matcha powder
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
3 tsp bourbon vanilla extract
1/2 tsp kosher salt
3 large eggs
3/4 cup all purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over low heat, then remove from heat and stir in the white chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the melted mixture with granulated sugar, brown sugar, and bourbon vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Sift in the matcha powder, kosher salt, and flour, then fold until just combined without overmixing.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
For an extra indulgent touch, consider drizzling melted white chocolate on top before serving.
