Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a smooth batter forms.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat for frying.
- Using a piping bag or a spoon, carefully drop small rounds of batter into the hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown on each side, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and let drain on paper towels.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth, then drizzle over the warm doughnuts if desired.
