Description

These Oatmeal Peanut Butter Bars are a delicious and nutritious treat, packed with flavor and perfect for a quick snack or dessert.


Ingredients

1 cup peanut butter

½ cup packed brown sugar

½ cup corn syrup

⅓ cup butter

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 ⅓ cups rolled oats

½ cup flaked coconut

½ cup sunflower seeds

½ cup raisins

½ cup semisweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine the peanut butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, and vanilla extract over medium heat, stirring until melted and smooth.
  • In a large bowl, mix the rolled oats, flaked coconut, sunflower seeds, raisins, and chocolate chips.
  • Pour the melted peanut butter mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until everything is well combined.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish and press it down firmly.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
