Ingredients
Scale
2 lb beef sliced very thin
4 cup broccoli cut into bite size pieces

3 garlic cloves (pressed)
1 cup hot water
5 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
3 tbsp brown sugar
3 tsp corn starch
3 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
- In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the broccoli and garlic to the pan and stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
- In a bowl, mix together the hot water, soy sauce, brown sugar, corn starch, and sesame oil to create the sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli in the pan and stir to coat everything evenly.
- Simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, use tamari sauce instead of soy sauce. Adjust the sweetness by varying the brown sugar to your taste.
