melted
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
or more to taste
1 teaspoon garlic salt
¼ teaspoon dried rosemary
⅛ teaspoon dried basil
⅛ teaspoon dried thyme
⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
1 (1 pound) loaf French bread
halved lengthwise
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic salt, rosemary, basil, thyme, and garlic powder until well combined.
- Spread the mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French bread.
- Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
- Turn on the broiler and broil for an additional 5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, feel free to add more Parmesan cheese or herbs to the mixture. Serve immediately for best texture.
