Ingredients

Instant yeast or active dry yeast

Warm milk

Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast, letting it activate for about 5 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and melted butter together.
- Add the activated yeast mixture, egg, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix to form a dough.
- Knead the dough until smooth, then let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- Once risen, roll out the dough and cut out donut shapes. Place them in the pan and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake the donuts for about 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
