1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup pecans
chopped
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup corn syrup (light or dark)
1/4 cup unsalted butter
melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 egg (for egg wash)
Powdered sugar (for dusting
optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well mixed.
- Place a spoonful of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle and roll it up tightly.
- Place the rolled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down, and brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
These rolls are best served warm and can be stored in an airtight container for a few days. Reheat in the oven for a few minutes before serving.
