Ingredients
3 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
⅔ cup water
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 ½ teaspoons salt
½ teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs, mixing well until smooth.
- Add water and pumpkin puree, mixing until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: ginger, allspice, cinnamon, cloves, flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until combined and smooth.
