Instructions

Step 1: Cream the butter and sugar until pale and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
Step 2: Add the egg and vanilla; beat until smooth.
Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and cardamom.
Step 4: Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix until just combined.
